Our Manager, Maureen Pottle, joined our Baccalieu Senior Community in September 2012 as a Personal Care Attendant, showing dedication and leadership Maureen quickly grew into our team lead, and, since February 2019, has been the acting Manager.

Working within the Home for the better part of the last decade Maureen is experience with every aspect of operations, leading her team with deep industry knowledge and compassion. She is determined to do her role to the best of her capabilities, caring for our residents as if they were her own parents.

Born and raised in Old Perlican NL, Maureen has lived, worked, and grown in the Baccalieu region. On days off you can find Maureen her spending time with her son, knitting quilts, enjoying the outdoors skiing or skating, or taking a dance class. Maureen also volunteers with the Kids Program at the local Library and at the Old Perlican Lions Club.

Maureen’s secret to doing well in the role? Building strong bonds with the seniors in our care, to quote her “I’m so grateful to be able to wake up everyday and care for the people I have known as family for the last 8 years.”
